MY TUSSLE WITH THE DEVIL AND OTHER STORIES is a collection of short stories and poetry by American writer, O. HENRY, first published by M Y Publishers of NYNY in 1918. The book is presented as a posthumous work from the spirit of O. Henry, who communicates via a Ouija board to an individual known as "Parma.” The stories are described as retaining O. Henry's mastery of the short story format and his use of twist endings, but with an evolved, more spiritual perspective. The stories explore themes such as love, greed, and the human condition, often blending the ordinary with the supernatural. According to a foreword in the book, the "ghost" explains that his new stories must be "pastel in hue and delicate gossamer things" compared to his previous "bold black and red of human passions"
